Heli-Skiing in Kootenay’s powder stash offers incredible tree skiing in an area with two mountain ranges and endless valleys with a huge amount of snow. This area is basically all about tree skiing, with similarities to CMH’s area north of Kootenay, Galena, and requires the same advanced level of skiing.
Our guest accommodations are in Kootenay lodge, a hotel owned by CMH, located in the center of the small town Nakusp, by Arrow Lake, south of Revelstoke. We access our ski areas from several staging points using vans to transport guests to the helicopters. After a day of skiing, you can even enjoy a soak in Nakusp Hot Springs.
3 groups of 11 skiers share a Bell 212 helicopter in the ”Signature” program and 3 groups of 5 skiers a Bell 407 helicopter in the ”Small Group” program.
Transport to Kootenay is not included. The closest airport is Kelowna, and renting a car is recommended.
