ADVICE BEFORE THE TRIP
Flight: Flight from Europe to Kelowna is not included but can be easily booked online at e.g. SAS, Lufthansa, Air Canada, KLM or BA. We will help if you need more specific information.
Arrival: You need to arrive in Kelowna no later than the night before your heliskiing trip begins. CMH representatives will welcome you at the CMH reception at the Kelowna Four Points Sheraton, where you will stay overnight and we will book a room for you. As a CMH guest you get a special price: single room CAD 149 + tax incl. breakfast, double room CAD 169 + tax incl. breakfast, which is paid at the hotel. 48 hour cancellation policy, later cancellation the guest will be charged a fee. CMH bus to Galena departs Kelowna Four Points at 8:00 AM (PT) the next morning.
Departure: On the day of departure, you go skiing in the morning. Bus leaves the lodge after lunch and arrives in Kelowna in the evening about 7:15 PM (PT). Return flights must then be booked with departure the following day. Overnight at the Four Points Sheraton.
If you want to fly home the same evening as the heliski trip ends, you should book an ”early bus” that leaves the lodge in the morning and arrives at the Kelowna airport at about 12:15 (PT). Then you can’t ski in the morning. ”Early bus” is not included in the tour cost, CAD 250 + tax per person. If you have booked flights departing on the same day as the heliski trip ends, you should allow enough time for check-in and that arrival in Kelowna may be delayed due to difficult road conditions. For this reason, it is recommended to book a return flight no earlier than 2:15 PM (PT), preferably later, as well as a rebookable ticket. CMH or CMH Nordic is not responsible for any additional costs if you miss your flight.
Travel documents: A valid passport, eTA visa, proof of being fully vaccinated, PCR test not older than 72 hours from boarding transit flight directly to Canada and completing travel information in ArriveCAN (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/arrivecan.html) is required for entry into Canada. The eTA approval is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for five years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.

PRE-HELI SKIING
Many of our guests choose to travel to Canada a few days before the start of the heli skiing program to get over their jet lag and warm up with skiing in a ski resort. CMH Nordic will help you with information and booking if desired.
