Bobbie Burns with skiing in the Purcell and Selkirk mountain ranges is an excellent area for both forest and high alpine skiing. "Burns" is known for challenging skiing and is suitable for experienced skiers with good fitness.
The lodge was built in 1981 after Bugaboos and Cariboos in the same alpine style as the other lodges.
3 groups of 11 skiers share a Bell 212 helicopter.
Bobbie Burns is a "fly-in" lodge. After transportation by bus from Calgary, you fly to the lodge by helicopter the last leg.
Fly into Calgary the day before your heliskiing trip begins with an overnight stay at the Marriott Calgary Airport Hotel where CMH staff will meet you on arrival. The following morning, private bus departs from MCAH to the Bobbie Burns heli-pad where you will be picked up by helicopter for the final flight to the lodge. During the journey, there are simple snacks and drinks on the bus. Return transportation to Calgary.
