Kootenay

Heli-Skiing in the powder hide of the Kootenays offers awesome skiing in an area with two mountain ranges and endless valleys with lots of snow. This mainly applies to forest skiing, which is very similar to CMH's area just north of Kootenay, Galena. The difference is a slightly shorter ride, but the Kootenay requires the same advanced riding style.

Our guests stay at Kootenay lodge, a hotel owned by CMH located in the middle of the small town of Nakusp on Arrow Lake, south of Revelstoke. We transport our guests from the lodge with our own vans to the landing sites for the helicopters a short distance from Nakusp. There are hot natural springs nearby where you can end the day with a beneficial dip.

3 groups of 11 skiers share a Bell 212 helicopter in the "Signature" program and 3 groups of 5 skiers share a Bell 407 helicopter in the "Small Group".

Transportation to Kootenay is not included. The nearest airport is Kelowna. Rental car recommended.
